Services
The Services Branch provides support services to the jail and enforcement staff. Staff oversee the department's budget, civil process, property and evidence, records, warrants, and other support services as needed.

Records Unit
The Records staff process reports, citations, accidents, arrest reports, complete mandated crime reporting, conceal carry (CCW) permits, records requests, and Sunshine Law requests. Angela Ayers supervises the unit. To obtain a copy of a report, or make a Sunshine Law request, you can submit the request using the "Online Open Records Request" button below or call (573) 573-1111 ext. 6128.

Items considered evidence can only be released upon written authorization from the Boone County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Items held as evidence will not be released until all investigations and legal proceedings are complete.
Evidence will be released by appointment only. If you have reason to believe that your property has been recovered or seized by the Boone County Sheriff's Office, contact the Property and Evidence Unit.
