Boone County Family Resources Board of Directors

Eight member Board and one County Commissioner authorized under Chapter 205 RSMo. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month, at the Boone County Family Resources (BCFR) office at 1209 E. Walnut at 5:30 p.m. The Board provides facilities and services to developmentally disabled and other handicapped persons within Boone County. Members of this board also serve on the Board of Life and Work Connections, Inc., a Section 501(c)(3) corporation that provides vocational services to young adults through a contractual agreement with BCFR. Persons interested in applying for membership on the BCFR Board must complete the standard board application form available on the County website or at the Commission Office. Applicants will then receive, and must complete a more detailed application form prior to interview by the County Commission. (Term - 3 years)
