Board of Parks Commission

An 11 member board with representatives from each of the ten townships. To make suggestions and plans for the use, development and maintenance of any lots, tracts or parcels of ground acquired and used for the purpose of public parks, playgrounds, camping sites, recreation purposes and/or sanitary landfills. Said board shall make recommendations directly to the Boone County Commission but will have no authority to make any contracts or bind the county in any manner whatsoever. Meetings are held the second Tuesday, bi-monthly at 5:30 p.m.in the Boone County Government Center, room 220. 4-year terms.
