Fingerprinting

The Boone County Sheriff's Department provides fingerprinting services to the general public upon request. Individuals wishing to be fingerprinted will need to provide their own fingerprint card(s).

Fingerprinting services are available between the hours of 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, subject to staff availability.

The fee for this service is $5 per person. The Sheriff's Department only accepts cash, debit or credit cards. We do not accept personal checks.

Please note it is the responsibility of the requestor to get the completed fingerprint card(s) to the appropriate agency and/or department.

This service is to provide fingerprinting only and is not to be considered a criminal background check. For information on how to obtain a name based or fingerprint based criminal background check, visit the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
